Chapter 108

A Song or Mizmor of David.

1

O Elohiym, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2

Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

3

I will praise you, O Yahuah, among the people: and I will sing praises unto you among the nations.

4

For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your Truth reaches unto the clouds.

5

Be exalted, O Elohiym, above the heavens: and your glory above all the earth;

6

That your beloved may be delivered: save with your right hand, and answer me.

7

Elohiym has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shekem, and mete out the valley of Cukkoth.

8

Gil'ad is mine; Menashsheh is mine; Ephrayim also is the strength of my head; Yahudah is my Torah giver;

9

Mo'av is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Pelehsheth will I triumph.

10

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11

Will not you, O Elohiym, who has cast us off? and will not you, O Elohiym, go forth with our hosts?

12

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

13

Through Elohiym we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
