AND Yahushaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Yashar'el.
And he placed forces in all the fenced cities of Yahudah, and set garrisons in the land of Yahudah, and in the cities of Ephrayim, which Aca his father had taken.
And Yahuah was with Yahushaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father Daviyd, and sought not unto Ba`aliym;
But sought to Yahuah Elohiym of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Yashar'el.
Therefore Yahuah stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Yahudah brought to Yahushaphat presents; and he had riches and honor in abundance.
And his heart was lifted up in the ways of Yahuah: moreover he took away the high places and the Asherah poles out of Yahudah.
Also in the third year of his reign he sent to his princes, even to Benhail, and to Ovadyahu, and to Zakaryahu, and to Nethan'el, and to Miykayahu, to teach in the cities of Yahudah.
And with them he sent Leviyiym, even Shema'yahu, and Nethanyahu, and Zevadyahu, and Asah'el, and Shemiyramoth, and Yahunathan, and Adoniyahu, and Toviyahu, and Tov Adoniyahu, Leviyiym; and with them Eliyshama and Yahuram, priests.
And they taught in Yahudah, and had the Cepher of the Torah of Yahuah with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Yahudah, and taught the people.
And the fear of Yahuah fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Yahudah, so that they made no war against Yahushaphat.
Also some of the Pelishtiym brought Yahushaphat presents, and tribute silver; and the Araviym brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he goats.
And Yahushaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Yahudah castles, and cities of store.
And he had much business in the cities of Yahudah: and the men of war, mighty men of valor, were in Yerushalayim.
And these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers: Of Yahudah, the captains of thousands; Adnah the chief, and with him mighty men of valor three hundred thousand.
And next to him was Yahuchanon the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand.
And next him was Amacyah the son of Zikriy, who willingly offered himself unto Yahuah; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.
And of Binyamiyn; Elyada a mighty man of valor, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.
And next him was Yahuzavad, and with him a hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for the war.
These waited on the king, beside those whom the king put in the fenced cities throughout all Yahudah.
